This is the place to sell all of your new and used knives. You can upload an advert here for pre-owned knives, tools and equipment.

Next Steps
Once we receive the items you wish to sell, our team will verify your advert for each item you have created an advert for. Your advert will be made live on the Sporting Cutlery website, enabling a global audience to view and purchase.
We will deal with the purchaser, providing insured safe delivery of the goods to their door.
We will carry out full age verification at the point of purchase along with age verified delivery of the goods where legally required.
Sporting Cutlery will take full responsibility for all aspects of the legal sale of age restricted products listed on our web site. We deal with the purchaser so you don’t have to.

What is Sporting Trader?
Sporting Trader is a web site where items can be listed for sale. (please see our terms for what types of items can be offered)
Listings can be created on the web site and in turn the goods can be shipped to us using the shipping label provided.
Once received, the goods will be compared to the listings created. Once accepted, the listings will be made live on the main Sporting Cutlery web site and will be visible for sale to a global audience.
Is Sporting Trader an Auction Site?
No, Sporting Trader is not an auction site. The selling price is fixed, although offers can be made by a prospective purchaser and passed on to the seller. Offers can be accepted or declined at the sellers discretion.

What items can I list for sale on Sporting Trader?
Sporting Trader is a knife selling site
If the item is not legally allowed to be owned in the UK, then we can not sell it for you. (flick knives or automatic knives are a good example of this).

What does it cost to sell my items?
The cost to you the seller is 20% Plus VAT of the selling price you set when you set up your advert.
Are there any additional costs?
There are no additional costs to you the seller, unless you opt for Sporting Trader to collect your items from you.

How is the selling price calculated?
The seller decides on the selling price.
For example:
The seller decides to sell a Bushcraft knife for £100.00 .
When we receive the Bushcraft knife, the selling price will be displayed plus 10% (plus VAT) administration charge.
This will make the actual selling price £112.00 visible on the Sporting Cutlery website
How long will I have to wait until my item sells?
The time it takes for items to sell depends on a number of factors;
- The quality of the item
- The asking price
- The condition
- Is the original packaging present
Being honest about the condition of an item and realistic about the asking price are two major factors if a quick sale is needed.
What happens if my item doesn't sell?
We can discuss a reduction in price, if we think this will help the sale.
If the item then fails to sell, it can be returned to you at your expense or we can dispose of the item. There may be a cost associated with disposal.
Am I responsible for the legal sale of the item and its delivery to the purchaser?
STS (North Wales) Ltd the parent company of Sporting Cutlery.co.uk takes full responsibility for the sale and delivery of any item sold on Sporting Cutlery.co.uk. This includes the lawful sale and delivery of age restricted products to its customer .
There is no legal responsibility placed upon the owner/seller of age restricted products in relation to the legal sale and delivery through the Sporting Cutlery web site.
When will I receive my payment?
The buyer has 30 days to return the goods once purchased for a full refund.
After the 30 days have elapsed, we will make full payment to you the seller, minus the commission sale amount of 20% plus VAT at the current rate.
Are my items insured?
All goods will be insured in transit if a collection has been arranged with Sporting Trader.
Goods are also insured in our warehouse and in transit to the purchaser. The insurance value will be the chosen sale value less the commission.
Do you share my details with the purchaser?
The sellers details are never passed on to the buyer. We STS (North Wales) Ltd act as the intermediary between the seller and the buyer.
STS (North Wales) Ltd ship the goods to the buyer and deal with all shipping and legal obligations in relation to the sale of age restricted goods, the seller has no further involvement in the transaction.
